The life and legacy of Clara Brown is foundational to knowing the histories of Christianity in our city. Clara Brown reflects both enduring heartache and hope through the early history of Christianity in Denver. To be a leader rooted in the Christian faith in our city is to build on the foundation she laid as a business leader, faith leader, and philanthropist.
We are thrilled to announce that MiDian Holmes, CEO of the Epitome of Black Excellence and Partnership, will be partnerhing alongside Jared Mackey of The Sacred Grace co-hosting a 10-year project dedicated to amplifying voices like Clara Brown. This event is a testament to our commitment to honoring our heritage and inspiring future generations.
We are excited to convene the community at Clara Brown Commons, to focus on the life and legacy of Clara Brown. Join us as we celebrate and elevate the stories and contributions of Black leaders who have shaped our community.
